Streetlife Festival 2015

 On Sunday I'd been asked to come along and watch the boys from ZebraThought perform at the Streetlife Festival on the M95.4 stage. Michael and I decided to make a little excursion out of it, seeing as the weather was so lovely and Michael had been in Denmark and I had been inside working on my last few essays for school the whole holiday.

The festival showcases plenty of physical activities that can be done on a leisurely level, such as skateboarding, rollerblading, speedmington and many more. Many stands offered to let you try these activities out, something Michael decided to take advantage of.
First we had a look at the skateboarders and Michael decided it was time to whip his camera out and do a little bit of filming. Sister is kind of proud.

Then Michael decided he wanted to try it himself. This was at a different segment down Leopoldstraße that was reserved for the little ones to have a go at it.

After that he was feeling a little hungry,so we went on the search for some food, which wasn't difficult as there was a whole area filled with the most fascinating food trucks. Michael decided to go for this monster from the Brezelbrothers's truck. The bite that I snaffled from him was a delightfully fluffy piece of soft pretzel - he loved the addition of the bacon and egg.

Having had his food and watched a magic act, we went to check out the climbing wall and Michael decided he wanted to scale the thing. I think he did a pretty good job while looking extremely cool.

Then it was about time to head towards the M95.4 stage to watch ZebraThought perform.
Though we did have a while to waste on taking photos of his gappy face

So after some waiting around, the boys started their set. And it was magnificent.

What a dashing band.
But it doesn't end there. No, they're also annoyingly photogenic. Here is photographic proof.

I would like to say that this is my personal magnum opus. I love this beyond words.

Also, everybody meet Antonia - we met at ZebraThought's first gig at the Soundcafé last summer and she's their biggest fan and a total sweetheart. Look at her enthusiasm, it's to die for ♡

Not only are the lads extremely photogenic but also unfairly talented, so have a swing by their facebook page and give it a like!

The day finished off with a lovely grapey dusk, as Jack Kerouac would have put it, and Michael and I went home happily exhausted from a very exciting day.

{I know I've been slacking off doing blog entries but I'll try get it updated! So much has happened this year it's incredible}
