Clear skies and a sun shining down on you on an early November day? Not what you'd expect. But that's what happened today and it was perfect, seeing as Philip and I had a hell of a lot of garden work we had to do before the parents and Michael came back from Denmark.
So at 11 o'clock on the dot, we ventured into the garden to tackle the mutilated corpse of a fallen tree that resulted form the storm last week.
Our task was to further massacre the fallen tree and separate it into three piles: the green prickly pile, the log pile, and the twigs that will crunch nicely under your feet when you step on them.

I got a bit distracted by these pretty leaves~
Pine cones and ankle boots make a pretty neat combination
Work it.
