Berlin, baby

So last month, my history class went on a school trip to Berlin and because I'm a very lazy busy person photos are only coming up now...

We started the trip after school and we saw the most gorgeous sunset from the train

We arrived in Berlin at around 11pm. From the central station, we took a train to Alexanderplatz and from there a tram to our hostel.

Day 1
Our first day started with a visit to the secret Stasi-prison.

After the visit we had a lunch break and we were let loose for an hour and a half.

After our lunch, we were taken on a tour around Berlin-

 -past Checkpoint Charlie

And we got to see some interesting buildings

Day 2

On day two, we were taken on a tour through Kreuzberg

After the tour we were given time to explore the culinary offers

In the afternoon we went to Potsdam, to see the venue of the Potsdam Conference - Schloss Cecilienhof

Day 3
We had time to kill before we had to catch our train home, so we went on a walk along where the Berlin Wall had stood.
Small memorials, like this one, were all over the city
